Living History
Over the years, many reeducation camp survivors and affected families have joined us. Their inspiring personal experiences tell of hardship and the strength and unity they drew on to overcome it. Theirs is a true American story: from the immigrants who sought refuge within these borders, started over, and came to adopt this country as their own, to their children and children's children who thrived under their family's guidance to become today's business owners, workers, and soldiers. The Returning Casualty believes that this important piece of American history been overlooked for too long, and we are working hard to make sure the world hears these stirring personal histories.
